Ive chosen the topic I call, " The destruction of our Youth". what i mean by that is, showing how far is to far? I want to show how our teens continue to binge drink and show a life of destructive behavior even though they know the dangers, also the abuse of sex and drugs. Everything we do has a ripple effect on our lives down the road. Ive chosen to do a short comic strip. Its one i've been working on for awhile but conveys a little of what im talking about. The comic is not completly done but it gets the point across.
What I hope to accomplish with this assignment: I want to show my love for art, my personal thoughts and insights in hopes someone shows that same intrest.
My arugument: "how far is to far" and I'll show this with statistics ( Binge drinking, rapes, std's, Drug use), real personal stories, as well as the new show "Busted" on MTV.

This is a really interesting project. I like how you brought in different categories of our youth, and not just focused on one aspect, for example only binge drinking or only abuse of sex and drugs.
I really also like this topic. Just an idea, perhaps you can also incorporate how the media plays an important role in influencing teens in the US. With role models like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, it's no wonder that we are having a crisis with our youth.
I also think this is interesting because it is something we see and hear about all the time. You can use many examples with this topic because many celebrities are dealing with these issues.
This is a good topic because we deal with these problems on a day to day basis. Just like Fatman said celebrities are dealing with these issues and so many people in our society look up to them.
This is a really interesting project, it's the most unique idea I've heard so far. I think it's crazy not just how crazy everything is getting with teen drinking and sex, but how young they are starting all of this these days. I look forward to seeing your project.
This project attracts me because I feel the same way about the issue. Teens should be more responsible, and to have some one finally voice out is great.
I think it's great that you're addressing this topic by bringing it to people's attention. If more teenagers and their parents were concerned with the stated destructive decisions, there would be less drunk driving accidents and other similar crimes. Good topic.
I believe your project is going to convay a very powerful message. It really is tragic how careless today's youth is, and light should be shun upon the topic. I applaud your topic choice and wish you the best of luck with the project.
that sounds pretty interesting. im looking forward to seeing it. i dont think teens really realize the effects until something happens to them.
I feel that the topic you chose is wonderful because it has alot to do with whats happening in the world today with teens.
